Where to Live in Park City

About Old Town

The quintessential ski town postcard, Old Town Park City — often referred to as Historic Park City or Main Street, Park City — is one of the main commercial hubs within the town, and is frequented by visitors and local residents alike for excellent restaurants, boutique shopping, photo and art galleries, and bars and nightlife.

Nestled adjacent to some of the original gold and silver mines that put Park City on the map, Old Town is full of historic “miners cabins” that have been preserved with their original charm and serve as modest single family homes, alongside those homes that have been restored and expanded to create more modern spaces and larger square footage. Many new construction homes and rebuilds are interspersed with historic properties, all of them offering the experience of living in the heart of Park City, and within walking distance of Main Street, and in many instances Park City Mountain Resort.

Ontario Avenue offers homes with some of the best views in all of Park City perched above and overlooking Old Town. Empire, Woodside, and Norfolk Avenues - often referred to as Old Town Park City’s Gold Coast - are idyllically situated halfway between Main Street and Park City Mountain Resort, making them a sought after location for part time and full time residents alike, and offering rental upside for investors in both the winter and summer seasons. Park Avenue holds many of the flatter parcels within Old Town, with easy access to City Park or Lower Main Street.

A variety of condo and townhome projects including Silver Star, Three Kings, and King’s Crown places residents within arms reach of the ski lifts are Park City Mountain, while buildings like the Parkite at the top of Main Street, offer a luxe, modern loft feel in the center of town where few other residential residences are available.

Whether the focus is shopping, dining, skiing or snowboarding, winter, spring, fall or summer, Old Town real estate offers something for everyone while assuring you’re never missing out on the action and vibrancy of Park City’s core.
