About Kimball Junction

Now known as the main commercial and shopping hub for Park City outside of Old Town, Kimball Junction was once merely a highway exit from I-80 to a two lane dirt road that lead into Park City past neighborhoods that had yet to be built or even thought of. A lot has changed since then in Park City, and the growth of Kimball Junction has been a positive impact for the community and visitors alike, offering creature comforts and daily essentials outside Main Street and the ski resort base areas. While Kimball Junction is anchored by commercial spaces, restaurants and ski companies including Rossignol, Whole Foods, Skullcandy, Hearth & Hill and Vessel Kitchen among others, it is also a recreational hub with access to a variety of trail heads, the Swaner Nature Preserve, and year round winter sports training facilities at the Utah Olympic Park.

Kimball Junction is a great neighborhood for residents and second home owners who value walkability, proximity to dining and recreation, and prefer a more accessible entry to the marketplace as compared to prices in Old Town Park City. Newpark Resort Residences consist of two bedroom loft style townhomes that back up to a vibrant paved walking and biking path and the Swaner Nature Preserve, representing a bit of a hidden gem subdivision. Just north of the center of Kimball Junction and easily accessible via pedestrian underpass is the Blackhawk Station neighborhood, one of the best entry points into Park City for a single family home in the Park City School District.
