About Jordanelle

The Jordanelle Reservoir and state park is the scenic alpine lake centerpiece to the rapidly growing and very popular Jordanelle area. Each hillside surrounding the Jordanelle represents a different neighborhood and set of developments, ranging from large scale custom homes in Deer Vista and Sky Ridge, to premier private golf communities at Tuhaye and Marcella, to townhomes at Shoreline and Black Rock Ridge — the options for purchasing in new developments at the Jordanelle are seemingly endless. The Jordanelle State Park and reservoir serve as an anchor for development in the area both in terms of summertime aquatic recreation, and by prohibiting any development within the bounds of the state park, ensuring that the water front is preserved for recreation, open space, and wildlife.

Just as diverse and impressive as the array of real estate developments surrounding the Jordanelle, are the array of endless mountain and lake views surrounding the area. While the scenery within the bounds of Park City limits is incredible, some would argue that the most impressive views in the area can be had from the East side of the Jordanelle looking across the expansive waters of the reservoir and across Deer Valley’s Bald Mountain and the sweeping Wasatch Back ridgeline. Watching the twinkle of silhouetted chairlifts and dancing snowcats in the winter months never gets old, nor does having a marina with wakeboarding and sailing and a world class ski resort both within five to 15 minutes of your front door. The Jordanelle area is about as good as it good as it gets anywhere in the country for those who live to be in the mountains and take in their beauty during all four seasons.
