Where to Live in Park City

About Deer Crest

Unequivocally one of the most scenic ski-in, ski-out neighborhoods in Utah, Deer Crest is strategically positioned just over the ridge from the Snow Park base at Deer Valley, and just above and adjacent to the new East Village at Deer Valley. Deer Crest offers excellent ski access to all parts of Deer Valley combined with stunning easterly views of the Jordanelle Reservoir and the Uinta Mountains.

The Deer Crest Estates neighborhood at Deer Valley Resort is unequivocally one of the most scenic ski-in, ski-out neighborhoods in Utah. Strategically positioned just over the ridge from the Snow Park base at Deer Valley, and just above and adjacent to the new East Village at Deer Valley, Deer Crest offers excellent ski access to all parts of Deer Valley combined with stunning easterly views of the Jordanelle Reservoir and the Uinta Mountains.

Deer Crest is a gated ski community with two access points. One entrance is adjacent to Utah Highway 40 offering seamless access to from Salt Lake City International Airport and Heber Valley Airport for commercial and private aviation, with the other entrance located nearby the Deer Valley Snow Park base area, offering residents easy ingress and egress to Main Street Park City and shopping, dining, and amenities in Town. With less than 100 homesites and over 600 acres within the community, there is plenty of elbow room. Some of the largest and most architecturally impressive custom homes in Park City are located within Deer Crest, along with the current record holder for the most expensive home ever sold in Park City.

Deer Crest is a great option for those who are interested in a ski-in, ski out home in the mountains, but are sensitive to higher elevations and lower oxygen levels. Deer Crest is one of the lowest elevation ski-in, ski-out neighborhoods in Park City, ranging from around 6,800 feet to 7,800 feet above sea level. Compare this with ski areas in Colorado where the base of the mountain can start at 8,000 feet to 9,500 feet above sea level, and it’s easy to see why Deer Valley is appealing to second home owners flying in from lower elevation and coastal areas.

Many Deer Crest residents are also members of the Deer Crest Club, a private club offering members exclusive lounge access at the St. Regis at Deer Valley and within the St. Regis Residences at Snow Park. Members can utilize these lounges to start or end their ski day with the included gear storage lockers and boot dryers, along with complimentary breakfast, lunch, and apres ski dining options. Deer Crest Club membership also allows members and their guests to have access to the St. Regis Deer Valley spa, wellness center, and pool facilities.

As of 2025, homes in Deer Crest can range from 3,500sf and 0.5 acre lots, to over 21,000sf and 3.5 acre lots with prices ranging from $1,400/sf for homes built in the early 2000’s that are ready for updates, to over $3,000/sf for newer custom homes with ski access and premium views. The combination of stunning mountain and water views, great Deer Valley ski access, gated privacy, and amenities at the St. Regis at Deer Valley are what draw residents to purchase a home in Deer Crest Estates.
